Should spark plugs be replaced and how should they be judged?

Spark plug is an important component of the car ignition system. Its function is to discharge the pulse high-voltage electricity sent by the high-voltage wire (nozzle wire), penetrate the air between the two electrodes of the spark plug, generate electric sparks, and ignite the mixed gas in the cylinder.
Due to working in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment for a long time, spark plugs are also one of the vulnerable parts of the engine. Once there is a problem with the spark plug, the overall performance of the vehicle will be seriously affected, and the owner needs to follow the maintenance manual for vehicle maintenance. Especially when your car experiences the following conditions, please pay attention to checking whether the spark plug is faulty.
Firstly, difficulty in cold starting
When the gap between the spark plug electrodes is too large, it can cause the spark plug to fail to discharge properly, and the mixture cannot be ignited when the car is cold. So if you find that your car has a jerking sensation when starting cold and cannot ignite normally, then you need to consider replacing the spark plug.
Secondly, weak acceleration and increased fuel consumption
If you notice an increase in fuel consumption and a decrease in power of your car, especially during acceleration, and feel that your car lacks energy, it may be due to carbon buildup or damage to the spark plugs. At this point, the spark plug can no longer provide stable ignition energy to the engine, so it is necessary to consider replacing the spark plug.
Thirdly, engine shaking
If the engine intermittently or continuously shakes and makes abnormal “popping” sounds when the car is idling, it indicates that there may be a problem with the spark plug. Please replace it in a timely manner.
